Since you asked … I started a band back in ’99 called Jazza Diction. My name is Jef Peace and one gig a bandmate thought it would be cool to introduce me as Warren Peace ‘cuz of the obvious pun. It stuck and I became Warren Peace. After the band broke up and I started doing digital music, it just made sense to call the solo act Warren Peace, but there were already a few bands with that name so I went with Warryn Peace.

As for DJ Wahnna Bee, that’s the name I use for mixtapes, mashups and remixes. I haven’t released anything yet, but when I do, or if I ever dj live, it will be as DJ Wahnna Bee.

I’ve had mine for awhile as a username on various forums and things and when I started getting into production and writing, I was tagging all my stuff with terrorbot. It kinda just came to me… I have a nerdy love for robots, especially giant robots that destroy cities… I ditched it for some time in 2001 to avoid unwanted attention, but when I started spinning, it was just a natural choice. I don’t really think it fits my style, and when I spin on my radio show, I just use my real name… Jeremy.

I go by many names. My actual name is Brian Rapko, so being in the rap game, this is a benefit. As a rapper though ( my youth minister actually gave me this name): B-rap.
My group with my brother is called Rap K.O. (as in "knock out"+ our last name).
Another name i just started incorporating in my raps is "The Beast" because i am a hairy mother (shut yo mouth).

Thats about it, pretty fun stuff, but not cool at times because some people don’t believe its my real name. I respond to them the same way when they say "No way, you’re not a rapper" because i wear glasses, have a bald spot, a maine on my back and stomach, and am white:
"Im sorry, i don’t speak monkey"

mine was fairly simple, my name is Liam Connolly so I just took L and the Con and put them together

I’ve got 2 names as well.
When I am DJ’ing it’s just "DJ Mitchell", cos Mitchell it’s my name,
and when I produce and play out live it’s "Junior Lazarou", which is kind of taken from a sick & twisted sit-com from the UK called "The League Of Gentlemen"

There is a mental gypsy dude in it called "Papa Lazarou", so I reckoned I could be his b*st*rd offspring.

All I did was put the word DJ in front of my last name, and voila.

i actually tried signing up here with my name, initials, handle i use on other boards… but all were taken.

so i thought of the dumbest nic possible that no one could EVER have… and that was taken as well.

i ended up frustrated and just typed in ‘wordupdawg007’ – and was accepted as such.

i still laugh when i sign in here.

Well i got Laurie cos its my birth name and haven’t found a good stage name yet, but Laurie is from a famous author which my mum liked called Laurie Lee.

I didnt see this topic when I first signed up! Well, this was way back in year 9…my friends and I were really bored, and we started spelling stuff backwards. We did our names, and my last name turned out to be Submeg. It has stuck ever since and for everything I sign up for, I am known as Submeg.

was sitting thinking of random things for a name, linial popped in, then linear, dont know why, something to do with lines? no drugs. , and then linius, wich just sounded good to me! im sure you’ll dissasgree
