I just got myself a new Acer Aspire PC with Vista on it.
From listening to people who knew nothing about it and reading on forums it kind of put me off it but everything seems to work fine with me!
I’m not really into all the in’s & out’s of what a pc does and don’t know 2/3rds of the stuff they can actually do, all I know are the very basics.
I only need a computer for music software and internet access so this new one i’ve got is fine for me.
The Aspire I have only has a 512MB Ram and it runs pretty quickly, maybe it’s because it hasn’t been filled with junk yet! who knows.
I think what troubles most folks is "change". It’s going to happen sometime in all walks of life so why bother fighting against it?
Lets remember that Vista is still a beta format so obviously there will be teething troubles, but i’m sure it was the same when XP and all previous OS’s first came about.

lol, joking aside I personally have had no problems with it(so far) so don’t be put off like I was folks.
