JuggernautParticipantAMEN Random….that’s exactly why i don’t vote either here or in the states.
what people say and what people do are two very different things that NEVER come together when it comes to politics (from what i’ve chosen to be subjected to…i avoid it all most of the time really)

It’s also time that voting was made compulsory, so the 3rd of the population can’t elect for the remaining 2/3rds that can’t be bothered.I see what random and juggs are saying, but I would agree with you anisina. At least we could be sure that the person voted in was by popular choice for a start. And maybe (though I doubt it) people would feel it more and take a harder stance when more people actually think that because they actually voted, they should become more vocal and active in telling these "leaders" what they think about the broken promises and the lies.
You know what really annoys me sometimes is that it sometimes takes a riot before they do something. Sometimes, its seems that a march is only really saying "look at how many of us there are and how much damage we can cause if you get us mad enough". I think that more people should take part in marches to help represent how angry we are at these things. I remember the poll tax riots. People said no and no and no, but they still went ahead. In the end, the people rioted and caused a whole lot of damage. Not a good thing really, but I think that the more people stand in large groups saying the same thing and remind them of what could happen if they keep naffing us off, the more we can actually take back control as a people. I have been on a few marches, just to make up the numbers really. I’m not fanatical or anything. Its good though to realise that I am not the only one who thinks that diabolical liberties are taking place and that many people in the U.S and U.K share that view.
I’d love to have the creativity to be able to make some music or anything that cold make people find a way to deal with all this. If there are any of you who who are, I would encourage you to try it.
