Aye….but let me explain what i mean.So you’ve got a track but it’s out of key with the other one…shifting it up a semitone or a tone will sort it out. with numark cd players you can up the tempo and pitch, but there’s the keylock function.
this therefore locks the pitch of the track, when enabled but you can then return the tempo of the track back to 0 or whatever without the pitch going too.
Pioneer’s master tempo is ok (and abused by me heavily) but the keylock is a hella lot better when you’re feeling lazy and don’t wanna work that hard in making all tracks mix in key…
will….i dunno, i’m not a scratch dj. what mixer did you get again??..generally speaking scratch dj’s/turntablists prefer a much shorter x-fader (but very slick, not sticky) with control over the shape of the slope. i’m not going to suggest anything…other than go out to stores that sell mixers and have a play with them. if you can’t do that, ask other people who scratch what their preference is.

SeanzaParticipant[quote quote="In Silico":bn6lbsve]5. If you happen to encounter a Hip Hop dj, feel free to express your views in whatever language you deem appropriate. If they are not amicable to your opinion, and decide to be violent(as many Hip Hop djs do) do not hesitate to jab a Glowstick into their eye to teach them a lesson.
Well, that’s all! Be sure to have fun, be safe, and give those Hip Hop djs a good "Thanks for ruining music as we know it" for me…

I understand your point IS, but don’t you think that’s being narrow-minded & implying that ALL Hip-Hop DJs/Producers are violent?
I’m a producer (well I like to think I am lol) & I wouldn’t like to be hit because of the music I make, if u ask me, that’s what is ruining music as we know it, VIOLENCE & THAT ATTITUDE.
Peace.
