biggtymeParticipantnice to see some reggae heads here , nuff respect to you all. Sean Paul I think took the reggae to the commercial people , no disrespect to him ….personally for me in the dancehall world people like T.O.K , Elephant man , Beenie, Left eye and esco and now Busy are really running things in the Carribean right now.I respect what he is doing for the reggae genre but i feel some of these other artists are not getting thier just do. I mean lets face it, Sean Paul could never headline a bill that has Beenie Man or Elephant man on it , thier stage performance is much more superior,and yes Bob Marley will always be King

But on a another level, conscious tunes are the way to go, cah dem a promote a Positive Vibe, Most of the dancehall now i beleive, is full of Sh*t, dem jus chat bout badman rae rae rae, but I rather da positive vibes!!

biggtymeParticipantlol !!! i agree 100% , the concious vibe is back ….after luciano came out it seemed like he was the only one doing the councious thing…now you even hear bounty got some councious tunes now …his latest "world gone crazy" on the playlist riddim should hit home to the massive with all these wars going on everywhere. i think richie spice or jah cure should get artist of the year….and gyptian close behind….these are my favourite right now.
