starkie123ParticipantStarted with Cubase on the Atari ST in the late 80’s.
in ’95 I got my first pentium 75mhz and Used Cakewalk

think it was about ’99 I moved to Cubase VST and later in the 2k’s onto SX 2, and 3.
After many many hours of lost files, bsod’s, screen hangs, random computer failures I thought to hell with PC’s and bought an Apple iMac in 2008. I moved then on to Logic 7, then, Logic 8 Express and then more recently Logic 9 Pro.

alkalinemusicParticipantAbleton Live 8 is my weapon of choice. Been with it since ver 4. It suits my needs the best and feel that it frees me up from most of the time-consuming/non-creative aspects of computer production. I still use protools from time to time if im recording live instruments or the random audio for film projects.

djbhbParticipantEh, I use everything -basically whatever works. Look, all I was trying to do was post a link to the site that has my remixes on it.
Um, and all the acca’s I got from here. I was thinking about doing the competitions, but I’m tired from remixing all night.
If I’m lucky, maybe someone important, talented, curious, whatever will go check them out

AdSense 336x280July 11, 2014 at 12:28 pm #702996
MelantemusicParticipantI use Logic 8 for making beats and doing my thing, and then I use Logic 8. :p But I have Cubase 8 as well (not installed) but I wonder if there is any reason to have multiple DAWs for making good quality music. I will put it to the test. I personally think that if you have too many workstations it will be confusing and pointless.
I’ve worked with FL, Reason, Cubase and Logic. Cubase and Logic works for me (I’m not an expert on these programs, but I’m working on it) :p
All the best, suck my dick!
