I used the Orgy track Blue Monday (originally by New Order), mixed in Gwen Stefani, added a bunch of beats, synths etc. in Reason 3.0 and voila. Here she be, whatchya’ think?

^ Agreed on the pitch thing but the problem is that the Orgy track doesn’t pitch very well. I pitched it up 3 semitones already (or maybe 2, not sure) and pitching it up anymore, well quality REALLY goes for a big dump, know what I mean?

maybe try taking the orgy track down and the gwen up until they match in octaves? or does that just make it sound weird?

Haha, ya that sounds weird. The two tracks are 4 or 5 semitones apart, can’t remember which. So if I was to pitch Gwen UP until she matched, that would be going up 7 or 8 semitones, aka chipmunking.

I did another euro-pop version of Gwen’s "Luxurious", which is a radically different style than this mix but it’s up in this forum too if you’d like to peep it. And I have "Crash" in the works as well. I’m addicted to the Gwen!

… and I just found another awesome pella to work with, Omarion – Ice Box. Right around 130BPM and it sounds pretty nifty so I’m workin’ that too.
