The CutterParticipantI have too many to name. I guess the old jazz funk style breaks are my favorite. I have a giant collection of classic breaks which I like to use for my mixes. They come in very handy.
Have a nice day,
Mr. C.

2GSParticipantThe apache break is pretty versatile, seeing as how Missy used it, most of my Techno and Progressive DJ friends have used it to get crowds’ attention, and The Sugarhill Gang track is just cool.
However, I have to go with the Amen break. It’s the backbone of a lot of non 4-on-the-floor music and it’s so ubiquitous that when I drop it, only the really intense, studious kids turn heads and go "yes!"

Winston_S_EsqParticipantWell partners,
At the moment I’m getting a hoot out of the "Honky Tonk Woman" break.

RMXParticipantAre you guys forgetting the most sampled break ever – The "Amen break".
Truly awesome, this has got to be the most sampled break ever – The ‘Amen Break’ or ‘Amen’ is the most frequently used sampled drum loop in hip hop, jungle and drum and bass music. It is 5.20 seconds long and consists of 4 bars of the drum-solo sampled from the song "Amen, Brother" as performed by the 1960s funk and soul outfit The Winstons.
