What do we think of the flyer guys?

I’ve started on a flyer for a night that I will hopefully be doing I have a trail run to do first but I’m pretty confident that will go well. So I want your feedback is there to much of anything, or do you not like certain things, colour scheme, what do you think of the logo, positioning of items, etc.

Oh yeah I added the acapellas4u logo on there to… do we get the 50 bonus downloads for putting it on flyers or posters?

Another quick little note the website isn’t up yet and our myspace hasn’t been sorted yet.

Ok I will have to convert the text into a picture first as its part of the font but will try that thanks, maybe i could have some bits with the lines to highlight certain things.

I think there still looks to be too much text & theres no strong image that I can associate with you…

Ie do you want that to be associated with you? if so then I think it needs to be bigger…

No offence taken what would be the point of me asking foe opinions if all I wanted was people lying saying how great it looks, if thats not how they feel about it.

I have to say i was getting to the point of thinking theres too much text and not a big enough visual aspect.

The recycle sign is supposed to be hanging of the g on the title, which must be less obvious than i thought, i quite liked the title but i do agree you can’t see the bognor part very well (maybe thats a good thing ). I felt that you would see the logo once in detail (like on a poster) and then recognise it from a distance.

Hey i’m no artists havn’t done this stuff for years so all feedback to improve it is welcome particuarlly on the logo as i dont wont to be changing that in the future it needs to be a key focus point

As for printing the link it shouldn’t be a problem I’ve only done this as a mock up for the time being really the nights not starting yet and I’ve still got to do a trial test run night yet so I’m jumping the gun but it seems almost dead cert i will be setting up this night.

Soon as i get round to making some more changes i will put it online with your link

hey davefj never heard of that rule before but sounds like a good rule to stick by. Like your avatar to looks like a good flyer in its self.

I have thought about an image but not sure what to do. I thought there might be a spelling mistake or two in there somewhere my spelling is awful and didn’t run it through a spell checker, but that’s easily fixed.

So are we thinking remove that main body text (welcome to the…). What about the ‘vs’ list. Make it shorter, I’ve tried with that in that list to choose the tracks carefully as selected a number of bootlegs they may recognise that people like and have been played in local clubs plus others that have certain artists to attract certain types of people.
