urbanbwoyParticipantI have tried setting the tempo to an acapella and seem to fail to make it match the type of acapellas i use are rnb and im trying to mix it with bassline/4×4 like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8vE22xpGMuU
could anyone who makes bassline remixes tell me the rough idea of what tempo it should be at.
thank you

ChunkyEatsMyDinnerParticipantI suggest searching our forums, all the information you need on finding bpms can be found here.
Rnb tracks vary from 70 to 130 bpm.
As far as im aware, 4×4 is around 128-132?Your gonna have to learn the basics my friend as the answer to you question is not gonna help you in the slightest!

basshead3Participantwhen i time my vocals up i jus use a kick and time it up with jus the kick at first. then i go on to sound forge set the intinal tempo and then put ya final tempo of ure track and then put it ova ya beat. with some vocals tho u have to cut them up and move bits forward and back to fit with the beat.
all vocals r diffrent tempos ive had rnb vocals rangeing from 70 to 120 in tempo
bassline 4×4 is made at 135 to 145 maybe a bit slower if ya vocals sound like a rat lolol

acheadKeymasterTempo is a choice? You should be adjusting the acapella to what ever tempo you want by using your sequencer, then re-editing again to correct any slight errors.
4×4 is not 140 BPM, it’s whatever you choose to make it at, most of my records are made between 133-137BPM some wideboys material is even slower than that.
Making dance music you need to consider the DJ and how much pitch you get on Technics to mix it with, DJ EZ plays around 138BPM, so tracks made faster will be played slower than intended, usually not the goal, that’s the rough guide.
