SI PAULParticipantHi guys..
Is there an easier way to get tracks that I import, to the speed/tempo of my composition (what?) I ask my self.
I might not be explaining my self properly.
Eg. I am making a tune. I import faithless (this is the mashup I did)
I chop it to the first beat. then go to the end and chop at 4th beat.
when I play faithless against metranome its out.
I then spend about what seems like a lifetime Stretching or squeezing, then having a listen, then stretching again,
You get the picture…
Is there something in this program that will tell me the origional bpm.
so I can then adjust accordingly

Too IntegratedParticipanthaven’t played with adobe audition much, cuzz I thought it sucks..
Have you tried searching for hints & tips on the net..??
If that doesn’t work, try your manual
….
If that all didn’t work, find yourself another program
…I for one don’t know how it can be found in Adobe Audition…
I myself use FL Studio, and FL can detect the bmp of a file you import, so that works better.. .AdSense 336x280May 17, 2006 at 7:34 pm #589978

The CutterParticipantHi Si Paul,
Take a look at this post: Finding the BPM. This is a great resource for different ways of getting the BPM.

As far as Adobe that is a good question. I just recently got Adobe Audition 1.5 but have not tried to find BPMs with it. I will take a look at the manual when I get the chance.
