In SilicoParticipantIs it as shitty living over there as it is over here? I freakin’ hate the states right now with the Nazi-esque political system and lot of other shit just going down in the area. It seems like the US has just become one giant overly-expensive asshole of the planet and we don’t realize it sometimes.
I was thinking of at least coming to visit the Glasgow or London areas soon, and I may even consider moving there. Any suggestions on cool places to live or cool things to do for fun? How’s your average sat. night go? Sheet! I jus wanna get out of here, and New Zealand has too many sheep

Always has been mate…always has beenI live both here (London) and Atlanta and yeah i do prefer it over here but like has been so beautifylly detailed before…your average night out will vary from that to a great concert or something (followed by taxi’s, people puking everywhere and forgetting where you live if you drink that much).
I wouldn’t condemn the place but more so the mentality of the people. i find it annoying how quite a few americans are ignorant/unaware of so many things that go on outside their country…(i’d like to take this opportunity to say that Kenya is not a state of Brasil).
Anyway, the grass is always going to be greener no matter where you live. sure, it’ll be grand for a while but once you get into that humdrum that is life…you’ll be saying the same again

Viktor KParticipantSweden is a nice country to live in too but the nightlife here in Stockholm isn’t the best im afraid.
But as a country it’s very nice, we do have some crappy taxes though.AdSense 336x280April 21, 2006 at 8:32 pm #588656
anisinaParticipantThe only thing I can advise Rob, is don’t just look at London and Glasgow for nightlife etc… This is not an assumption of yourself, but some people do think everything revolves around London. The UK has a vibrant nightlife, allthough taxi’s are a must, in many cities and regions. For instance, Birmingham is the second largest city in the England, but Manchester is said to be more vibrant, and it is damn good for shopping. Manchester is also said to be second to London for many social matters.
Have a look around for some info on the places you think will best suit you, though keep an open mind, and I hope you find the right places to visit.
