The Police Headline the Isle of Wight Festival 2008

The Police will headline the Festival with a closing night performance in the beautiful surroundings of Seaclose Park, Newport.

Festival Promoter John Giddings confirmed The Police will headline Sunday night and bring 2008’s Festival to a close, "It’s a coup to get The Police for the Festival, we’re very happy to have the biggest tour of the last two years stopping by the Isle of Wight." The Police will return to Europe in 2008, and the Isle of Wight performance will be the only UK festival show for the trio.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place 13th – 15th June at Seaclose Park, Newport, Isle of Wight
