totalcultParticipantI can see where you’re coming from Val, he shouldn’t have run away. But running from the police never used to carry the death penalty in this country.
The police should be 100% sure BEFORE they use lethal force. I don’t envy them having to make these calls in a split second and I’m glad it’s not me doing that job.
But they f***ed this one up good and proper and people have to accept that, not make excuses for them.

DJ ValParticipantYeah I agree with you totalcult with reagrds with the cops being 100%. Apparently they got his name and details in a “back-pack” bag and one of the addy’s of one of the goons of the 1st bombing. Not quite sure how true that is, but if that is the info they had at the time, then it would’ve warranted what they did when he started running. Anyway, most of this I think is here say.
Then again what if he was a bomber, and the police let him just run coz they weren’t 100% sure. Then he goes and blows another 60 or more ppl up. Everyone would then be shouting “why the hell didn’t they shoot him when he started running”. Unfortunately the police seem to be in a no-win situation in cases like this.
But it is a shame that the guy was innocent and in the wrong place in at the wrong time.Laterz m8

These days, men are wimps and stand 1000 miles away and blow up whole cities. How could you even look yourself in the mirror after something like that?
