I just bought the new version with the vocal eraser and it’s greyed out when I try to use it. It came with a seperate serial number but I don’t know how to get it working….the sony website is no help.

Did u not get 2 disks in your package??

A Sony SoundForge Audio Studio disk (not sure on the name but I do have the program myself ) AND a separate disk with the Vocal Eraser plug-in.

The package I bought had 2 disks, a manual with the sony serial code in and a separate card with the vocal eraser serial code on.

The Vocal Eraser (iZotope plug-in) itself does a smoother job of some of the software available today but u still need to do a multi band EQ job on the processed sound to get something sweeter sounding…. after all there are only 3 major parameters you work with.. and a few minor ones..

It is a nice plug-in tho.. I work with Sony SoundForge 8 n a copy of this entry level equipped Sony software, just cos it has the Vocal Eraser on n i was curious.

i recently down loaded a copy of vocal eraser, installed , but i have no idea where it installed to or how to go about locating it on my hardrive(it doesn’t appear when i do a search)
