goodwillprojectsParticipantnothing wrong with that… at ALL..in fact i’m glad my work can allow some one to get free credits.
BUT this kid is removing my tag when they upload them, they put "diy_sev13_acapella" or what not…
is that how it works? the person that created the actual diy gets no recognition, or does "user name" refer to the person that MADE the diy?
DIY (do it yourself) acapellas must be named as below:-
artist_-_track_(diy_username_acapella).mp3http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/download_s … uery=sev13
i take a lot of time to create the diy’ , like when they are vinyls…. wow let me tell you the flutter/editing it takes to make it "good" is ridiculous/insane..
haso far i’ve made about 220, and uploading all of them and the ones i make in the future here first would double the time it takes for me to initially share them, and i’d have to be limited to only up’n 3 at a time here.. blah blah blah woe is me right?
just looking for a possible solution to my qualm or misunderstanding of the rules.
IF there is any alternative solution an admin can think of here then PLEASE let me know.
sorry for the rant but i am sincerely looking for a solution to this, other than the ones i’ve thought of.
it was my understanding that if some one uploads a diy to this site, then they put the user that made the DIY in the tag name… is this not the case?
peace and thanks again for this community.
to be clear i DON’T want the credits(that’d be kinda ridiculous ha) i just want ‘CREDIT’ in the file name… lolz is that to much to ask?

acapellaKeymasterHi mate.
This type of activity is just childish and it doesn’t surprise me, in fact NOTHIN surprises me anymore on the net of the lengths people goto to bypass procedures/rules etc.
You are correct on naming convention rules, something which I enforce really strongly.
So all that leads me to do is to say I shall track down the person who uploaded this acapella and provide you with the username via PM and it’s up to you what you do from there ok?
To finish off I’ll also jsut say that we do have a ‘file comments’ feature of the site which has been removed for some time as I just don’t have the time to admin it. The idea is to somehow make the new ‘file comments’ feature of acapellas4u v2 more automated (somehow)… now that would be nice and it means that our members can start again helping us improve the integrity of our collection here.
Regards,
acapella

MAXMILLIONAIREParticipanti share goodwills pain i too have been the victim of such tom foolery , but hey i look at it like this , atleast your talent is being exposed , which is really all i care about anyway . however it is a bummer because making (good) diys do take time and can be very painstaking.
