acapellaKeymasterWe at acapellas4u.co.uk are curious which other sites on the net you visit when you’re not spending your time visiting us for fresh acapellas and chatting on the forum.
So, do you spend your time on Social Networking sites (like MySpace, BeBo, Friends Reunited) or do you do the whole Social Bookmarking thang (Digg, StumbleUpon, del.icio.us, LinkedIn)

aaronv2Participantalthough contradictory in my reply i dont like social networking sites. They annoy me. Theres all those stupid games and requests for idiotic stuff. True story my friend who i see every week tells me why didnt you reply to my message? I couldnt believe it we talk in real life almost every day its retarded.
I have a myspace and a facebook but VERY rarely log into either of them. If im part of any site like that it would be flickr. Gotta store my photography some place.

wintercactuzParticipantLate post, but gimme a break I am new here. I use MySpace, simply because it is so easy to customize your profile and music player, etc. Alot of the annoyances mentioned in aaronv2’s post, can be easily blocked in the account settings area of "profile editor".
Also, Twitter is an interesting one. Although it seems to be nothing more than a decorated version of the "personal update" section you have on other sites, such as MySpace and Facebook.

buukwermParticipantI like stumble upon, but that’s about the most of my networking. In my experience, social networking requires a tremendous amount of time in order to get very little back in return. As far as keeping up with what the various day to day trivialities of my friends and family, it’s not for me. However, if someone is already established and has a following, twitter, facebook and the like may be useful. But, in my opinion, you still gotta win fans the old fashioned way, by offering something people want. Like "Field of Dreams" If you build it, they will come
