YepImTheToasterParticipantHi, I remember my first mahup I made, not so long ago. It was sketchy, rough, and pretty shaky, but I remember hearing it come together, and I got that magic feeling that is what has me still making mashups up to now. It’s where I learned that this is something I love to do, and that what I love to do is to make songs fit with each other, making it sound as if that was how they were meant to be.
While I cringe at some parts of my first mashup, I realize it was the first step to my learning about making them, and will always be special for that.
So this thread is for sharing your first mashup you ever made. don’t be embarrassed about it being awful; a lot likely will be. If you really think it’s that bad, you can add in a new mashup you’ve done to compare the ‘then and now’. But I bet a lot will be god quality, just in an unpolished way. So let’s hear them.
Here is my first ever! I had loved mashups in the 15 minutes of fame they had years ago, but had never thought that I could do something like that. I have had a slight musical history in my life, but never been awesome at anything in music generally; just okay. Fast forward to years later, and I just got an urge to try to make them. This was my first attempt, after acquiring my weapon of choice for mashups; Sony Acid Pro:

Since then I’ve progressed to mashups like this:

So there’s my first. What’s yours?
