DjnoumenonParticipantI think it’s a little bit more than that. There are well over 40 different scratches you can learn, not to mention combinations of each scratch (that sometimes builds another one), timing of your scratch, and not to mention if you are doing the scratch right. I would suggest videos from the internet (youtube) or even buying some sort of instructional video. If you are in the LA, Miami, or NYC area….you could always check out Scratch Dj Academy.

afrobabyParticipanti have a djm 600 and the cut off point is a little big so i unscrewed the fader panel glued a 1p peice underneath so a few MM of it covered the fader space so the cut off is shorter meaning the crab is a zillon times easier(remember folks it doesnt matter hoe good you are just how good it sounds) there is no such thing as cheating

totally agree with you there. I bought this vid 2 months ago and my scratching is defiantely starting to improve after many years of just fiddling about, not quite knowing how to scratch properly.
