Rendering Inverted Tracks ?

A simple Question i hope and probably something i should have learnt along time ago.

I use a plugin to create inverted tracks in VDJ, and record them to wav file. I open wav file in my audio editor.

Mix with other tracks and everything sounds great > Render material to MP3, and still sounds fine

The i play the track in a nightclub or my car which is mono, so the inverted track cancel each other out and disappears from the audio playback

Question :

Is there any way to still use inverted tracks, but allow mix to mono and have it not cancel itself out

P.S as i just wrote this i just came up with the idea off adjusting the volume of one of the channels so the waveform no loger match and cancel each other out. Will this work and more importanly. Why? – I wish to learn why I am doing what i am
