jpetrouParticipanthey guys, im new to the scene and have a track i cant find the instrumental of so there is no chance of doing a traditional phase inversion acca rip.
the vocal i want is used in an electro remix from 2007 i think, anyway, the intro loop and the break down in the middle are identical except that the vocals are layered over the loop breakdown.
so then is it possible to create an 4 bar loop of the intro, cut out the breakdown loop with the vocals over the top and similarly do a phase invert?
will this work? can someone with more knowledge try it? if someone is keen i will upload the file.

Synthetik FMParticipantYes this will work. Easier to do if you have acid, but you should be able to layer the two bits, invert the instrumental bit and extract your vocals!
