davefjParticipantCheers for the feedback Sammiejoe.
I like to think it;’s not too bad for my first attempt at writing a Dub Step track

davefjParticipantGlad you like it mate.
The lead is a combination of a Malstorm synths and an LFO wiggly bass in the Ableton Live Simpler.AdSense 336x280November 26, 2009 at 2:32 pm #674523

pjburnhillParticipantWell done mate, one of the best ones I’ve heard here so far.
Dude, the sounds are good but they could be just awesome. Esp the bass, I would strongly, STRONGLY recommend getting NI’s Massive, it does some serious bass and lead sounds. I.e. check out Sub Focus’s Massive bassline tut on youtube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SK1ocGVDibg
But some very clever and good use of sounds, good chopping and repeating. Well done dude.

pjburnhillParticipantPlus I’d cut even more off the top end of bass to get almost pure sine. Either go with full sound or really sub sine-like, I’d say.

ChicagoCheerFXParticipantNice and clean, but the levels seem a bit off, make sure that original sample is coming through!
