I followed the directions for acapella extraction as mentioned here
http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/topic24624.html
After i used the knockout effect, the track looked like somebody flatlined. There were no waves at all. So,when I played it,there was nothing but silence.

I just tried it for the 6th time and instead of silence,I just ended up with the original album version.

Nevermind.I boosted the R Input Gain and that did it.Now I just need to edit it a bit.I will upload it later.
JustALittleGirl wrote:I used knockout in Audacity and it worked quite good, but then I accidently removed Audacity from my comp, and then when I downloaded it again I couldn’t "install" knockout anymore, I know that I’m doing it the right way but nothing happens, so I’m wondering if there are any other free programs you can use knockout in? The phase inverting metod doesn’t work either and I wanna make acapellas so badly, thanks.
