Hi all,
At the beginning of Blood Sugar by Pendulum, the is a very well spoken gentleman that says:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we understand that you have come tonight to bare witness to the sound of drum…and…bass! We regret to anounce this is not the case, as tonight, we come to bring you the sonic recreation of the end of the universe. Ladies and gentlemen, prepare to hold your colour"

Or something to that effect.

In their live shows, there are variations, like saying "This is not suitable for a young audience", or "graphic violence may be broadcast" or something like that.
Does anybody know where I can get hold of the vocals?

…I think they got someone in to do those, you know. Hired in a voice over.

Because later on said voice says, "F**k it, I lied…It’s Drum and Bass, What you gonna do?"

Find someone with an astute and distinguished sounding voice and record some of your own

Other than that, i’m sure if you search hard enough there should be some Public Service Announcement clips from the States. But wouldn’t really be of the same effect.

I thought that they might be a voice over guy who did it, but maybe somewhere in the depths of the www, there are the samples, but the public anouncement idea sounds good. Thanks a lot.

I think it’s just a voice synthesizer of some sort. The same style vocals are in Stereo:Typical by Ctrl Z and Screwface

Definately.
Having seen the Breakfasta (supporting Pendulum) they played a version of Stereo:Typical that name checked them in the vocal breakdown. All in the same voice so I figure it’s a voice over actor.
