hello peeps
ive made a track and want to lay a pella on to it now
which is the best program used to lay pellas on to tracks and do you just lay the complete pella track over the top or do you have to cut it up in to bars so the pella does run off course ?
Thanks

If the pella is the same speed as the track you’ve written then you can do a simple inst/pella mix in something like Cubase.
You may need to edit the pella to stay in time with the track/arrange it around the beats/breakdowns, but this is pretty straight forward.
If you are using a slower/faster acapella then you can either cut the pella into bar sections and use a program like recycle/reason to match the speeds of the vocal to the music.
Another idea could be to re-record the pella at the required speed (CDJs are great for this due to the Master Tempo button and the speed adjustment of upto 100%). And then use the first suggestion.
Alot if it is upto personal taste as there are many ways to do this depending on what software you have and what you like to use.
What program did you write the music in as this can be useful when sorting the vocals out?
