Has anyone seen this yet?
By the looks of the trailer it seems to be the scariest film in years. Audiences going bananas in some parts
I saw Blair Witch at the cinema and it really scared me to bits. I know some people really couldn’t deal with the camerawork but the whole story got me. I’m hoping this’ll do the same!

I’m still mentally scared by Blair Witch, it’s all about the clacking of the stones and those funked up twig sculptures.

I remember renting the dvd (or probably VHS back then!) when it first came out for a group of friends. I hooked up a tree branch so that it was dangling next to the window on a length of string which ran all the way downstairs. At a few key moments I pulled on the string and the branch smacked against the window.
I like to think I added to the experience

I also recall chatting to a work colleague about his fragile state after seeing it and then photocopying about 50 copies of the twig logo and placing them strategically throughout his paperwork, files, drawers, coat, chair, shoes….

I was in a theater of scared and screaming men and women. People who don’t think this movie is scary are defintately in the minority. It was decent.

I’m usually a sucker for these type of movies but this one was absolutely rubbish! It’s intertesting for the first 10-20 minutes then just gets silly!

Has anyone seen Mirrors? Same kind of idea as that. Starts off interesting then turns into something unrealistic and away from the feel of the beginning.

I was thinking of going to see Forth Kind but not sure now having watched PA. Can anyone recommend this one?

Seems like an even split here!
I saw it last night and I was happily scared.
It puzzles me how some people aren’t even a little frightened and instead are bored by it.

The point of the scares is to let your imagination fill in the parts that you don’t see which makes it even more suspenseful.

What about all those bangs and footsteps off camera? Didn’t they scare the bejesus out of you?!

Apparently there are 3 different endings – the unrated, the theatrical and the Sundance version.

I saw the unrated version which may have been more ominous than the others.

Honestly, if you want a good scare watch this. But make sure there’s no silly kids in the audience as that will detract from the experience.
Maybe that’s what happened to those that didn’t particularly enjoy it?

I am a fairly jaded film-watcher, I have a very short attention span so when a movie comes along that does the biz for me, I’m doubly impressed… this film made me jump lots! tbf though I was watching it pretty stoned late at night not sure what version I watched, the one where she killed him at the end… but was proper spooky!!

Paranormal Activity huh! I haven’t seen it and unfortunately it seems to be a flop of a movie. I don’t think that I will make much effort in watching this anytime soon! But who knows I just may love it.

Hmm was gonna see it but seems it’s bad.
I usually dont rely too much on others’ opinion but most horror flicks suck these days and unless it gets acclaimed by the majority it usually isnt worth watching

Ya i didn’t think it was that good but it was the atmosphere i had at the movie theater. There was to much laughter. I think if your home alone or with a friend and the lights are out at night then its a great movie to scare you.

i liked the movie in the beginning but then it got boring. I do believe in spirits but this was just too paranormal….
Just can’t understand why ppl get traumas of it.. or we’ll say i don’t really believe it. for instance, the girl who had to go to the hospital cus she had a panic attack because of the movie… bullshit. i think she was mentaly sick before she watched it.
She & all the other ppl who paniced haven’t seen The Grundge….. They would die lol.
its still a bit scary though ive them through serveral times

For me personally,
it might justhave been the worst film I have ever seen… and thats saying a lot.
The scariest thing about it is that you will have spent good time & or money to sit and endure it
