JuggernautParticipantnope. to be honest Numark’s x2 does everything that a turntable does (has an option for 33 and 45 rpm)

Have a look at denon’s i dunno if anything below the DNS-3000 has a rotating platter but worth a look anyway.AdSense 336x280June 26, 2006 at 11:24 pm #592280

acheadKeymasteri spent £600 on a mk1 cdx and in theory it seemed like a good idea, but in practice it just feels funny. eg. when you push the record on its way to delicate for me. also when i try playing my cdr’s on there it crackles really badly.. i wish i’d bought a pioneer cdj1000 every day.

Why in god’s name….?
Don’t drop the P-word for the love of crap! Pioneer makes crap. Purely unremarkable crap. The Numark tables are great, barring a bad wire or connection or something, which is apparently the problem with yours. The Denon tables are about equal in the feature department, but the scratching isn’t quite as tight. They make damn good mixing tables.
The only reason I could see someone wanting to buy a Pioneer 1000 is if they like broken toys that take months for repair.
BTW – From experience, repair times are as follows from our store:
Pioneer DJ Division – 2+ months on average – incl. DJM500, DJM600, CDJ100 and 1000 and an EFX500.
Denon DJ Division – 4-9 Days on average
Numark DJ Division – 2-12 days depending on the product and the problem. 2 days was the CDX tables, and 12 days was an Axis mixer.Just an FYI.
