DJFailParticipantHi. My name is Jeff and I really want to learn how to make, produce, mix, and remix music (mainly electronic music) but I don’t have the money to enroll for online lessons or the time or patience to look up a thousand videos and tutorials showing how to mix that I end up never understanding anyway. I’m an up-close kind of learner. I learned to play guitar from private lessons and I would like to do the same for DJing. I have an American Audio VSM4 and a Novation Launchpad with Ableton Live Lite. I have absolutely no idea how to use any of this.
Is there an experienced techno wizard out there who would be willing to give me lessons through voice chat or Skype? I don’t have any money but think about the great karma you’d gain. I’m 17 and desperate, VERY desperate to learn about MIDIs and VSTis and whatchamacallits I have no idea about. Thank you.AdSense 336x280January 5, 2011 at 12:27 am #684703

DJFailParticipantI’d just like some real time advice on how to warp tracks and use effects. I don’t really need full on tutoring.
