andycessfordParticipantNice tune mate I like it, builds up nice, I like the kick and snare drums and it flows well to the drop and back again to the end.
Great groove to it for me too and I like how you have used the fx and also just enough of the vocal.Night Crawlers songs remind me of the early 90’s essential mixes when they would always be at least of of their tunes played in every essential mix just about.
Good work!!

djotwistedParticipantThanks for the feedback andy, we put a lot of hard work in to this and are lucky enough to be able to use some top quality midi’s like the virus T1 and novation amongst others. glad you liked it.

otgParticipantI think I’m going to buck the trend here… There’s quite a few things I don’t like about the remix. The voice you’ve used for the main riff in the beginning reminds me of the "orchestra hit" on Casio keyboards (usually sound 99). The main vocal is buried way too deep in the mix, it’s hard to make out. The initial snare sound needs more reverb, it’s way too dry, especially with the heavy bassdrum.
On the plus side, all of the other elements had their own spaces in the mix, and the effects on the vocal after the breakdown work well (shame I can’t hear them properly!).
Overall, I’d rate this at 6/10. Sorry if you think it’s harsh, but if I’m not honest, I may as well not bother!

djotwistedParticipantThanks for your constructive critisism.

nikhilbectorParticipantThe main vocal needs to be louder. Its hidden under the music and for most people its the best part of the song. In a club, thats what people react to and its just not making the impression it should. Otherwise its a good mix. I liked it

djotwistedParticipantHere’s a new link for those who didn’t get chance to listen to it the first time round, Thanks to every one for your citisism whether it was positive or negative.
