kriegwonParticipantHello all. Longtime member, first time forum poster.
I’m new to Ableton after using FL and Cooledit/Audition for years.
I’m into mashups and want to lay down a simple acapella over a jazzy instrumental in Ableton.
I had a plugin I used where I would track the acapella by ear and make gradual pitch tweaks until I got something useful.
Is there a pitch shift feature in ableton that will allow me to gradually shift the pitch to match both tracks resulting in a smooth mashup?
In other words, how do I change pitch for the tracks?
Thanks for your time.
Cheers.

snaylorParticipantin ableton there’s a way to pitch shift the track by step. You can see the dial below under the word "transpose".

hope this answers your question!
