CrayoneBoyParticipantI got an artist named SONCHILD who recorded a few song that are in need of musical production. All we have right now are ACAPELLAS.
We thought it would be fun to give other producers the opportunity to create the music for his 3 songs. If your mix is approved, it will make the album cut and you’ll get production credits on his album for the song(s) you select to make the music to.
Just know that all the songs must use Full Vocals as they will also become his performance tracks. So think radio friendly, album cuts.
His style is Pop/R&B and Dance. But feel free to play with it.
You can Download the ACAPELLA’s to SONCHILD’s songs…
"HOMEWORK" 103 BPM
"CANT EXPLAIN IT" 135 BPM
"I GO WHERE I GO" 121 BPMAcapellas can be downloaded here:
link deleted[/color:25lp3hc2]Or if you prefer, send me an email and I will forward the ACAPELLAS to you.
I am also uploading them to this site now.
Once your mix is done, email the mp3 to me at: email deleted[/color:25lp3hc2]

The CutterParticipantHello Bill,
I’ve got a couple of issues we need to discuss.
As I appreciate what it is you are trying to do with this artist. I think I should clarify the forum in a little more detail.
1. Rule #10: No requesting acapella(s) / instrumentals anywhere. This in essence includes hosting links to acapellas as well. I know that your situation is somewhat different but it does fall under this basic format.
2. Rule #3: Post in the correct forum sections (they are all clearly labeled). The Test Pressings section is for hosting your mixes and not asking for members to create music for your vocals. I understand that there really is no section that is set up for collaborations. Maybe posting this in the General Chat section would be the most appropriate in this case if we allowed this type of request. Now moving on to the matter of allowing this type of request. This is not typically what we do on this site. So may I suggest that before you go onto any forum that you read all the rules and in this case you send a pm to the administrator of the forum before you post a request such as this. It is always best to get permission before you do something like this and end up with results such as me deleting links to your project.
Now on to a side note about your project. I see that you have given the bpm’s to the songs in question but if you are going to do this especially with Pop/RnB style vocals that do not already have music for it. Wouldn’t it be wise to give the music creaters the Key Signatures as well. It would make it a lot easier for them to make the music for you.
Herr C.
