My goodness I’m happy

As some of you no I’ve had a chronically painful and debilitating condition for 10 years, which affects my left arm. Eight months ago I saw a specialist here in the UK who said he’d probably be able to help me. Although the operation is classed as high risk should it go wrong 40/60 chance of it going wrong, I have no option but to go for it. If I don’t go for it, the morphine and other cocktail of strong painkillers are going to end up killing me.
Well yesterday after waiting 8 months, the medical insurance company rang me and said they’d be covering the costs, which by the way will total over a whopping £25 000.00
I just had to tell you the good news, as I do class you guys as my friends and 2nd family (if that’s ok).
I’m not sure when the op will take place, whether it’s before or after Christmas, hopefully I’ll no the date next week sometime.
When is all over let’s hope Val returns to the forum as a not so sometimes grouchy, grumpy Val .

Guys thanks for all your positive support. It really does mean alot to me. I don’t have a very large family, what few members I have are scattered all around the world. Nor do I have a large circle of friends, the fact being is I don’t really socialise alot these days due to this painful condition, so I’m virtually going through this on my own. Thank you. You all rock!!!
