larry whiteParticipantthanks for that i do agree that an acapella or two would work but i normally do the instrumentals first.I believe if the instrumental is strong then once you put a vocal to it it will rock.but thanks for taking the time to reply.

De-Fine musicParticipantI really liked it up until the break. After the first half of the break I was was expecting something else to take it up a gear, instead, it went into a 2nd breakdown and then came back in with the same formula as before. It sounded like you missed the main body of the track out (IMO).
I think if you’d have used the first half of the break and changed direction by bringing in new elements, then brought the track back in (with the new elements), it would’ve had more of an impact.
Then use the second half of the break as a bridge to bring the elements from the first half of the track back in before you start to filter things out towards the end.The elements in the track worked really well together, just thought it needed that something extra in the middle.

jefpeaceParticipantI’m in total agreement with De-Fine … the middle needs more substance.
I disagree with platitude … love the piano for the same reason he doesn’t like it, it doesn’t fit. How can that be? Well, simple … it doesn’t fit in a very interesting manner and makes me pay closer attention to what’s going on. Nice contrast.
I sort of agree with pixlkid in that it’s a bit long, but if you beefed up the middle, it may not be too long, so that’s why I only sort of agree.
I also agree with shamus about the build-up being too long, but again, if you beefed up that section, it may be just right.
Your approach to electronica is similar to mine … I like to slowly build up and then slowly back off, so I can’t be too critical or I’d be critical of myself as well and my ego just can’t handle me not loving it.

All that aside, I like this track well enough to add it to my work tunes, so it must be good.
