I was thinking about some Alesis ONE MKII’s, their about £100 does anyone know what they are like? My M1’s were never mine and had to give them back and I miss the sound coz now I am back full time on these SoundStation things and you cannot EQ with them, everything sounds horrible a muddy!

I’ve spent a bit much of late so £100 is gonna be about my limit.

I won’t be able to go in to a store unless I travel a little way but I think if I need to return then for some reason I can.

I also noted the good bass response which is one of the reasons why I wanted to get them – I am in to Dubstep so fat basslines is pretty much the hook for all tracks and so is an important aspect of it’s production.

I will take a look at the other to you mentioned.

I have the HS 50’s and think they are great but you might miss the bottom end you are used to on the alesis’, me thinks.

I have the KRK Rokit 8’s – I havent had a chance to really compare them to anything else but they have a tight bass, good freq response, & didnt cost too much. I’m pretty happy with em
