i would deffo recomend Mixmeister Fusion. perfect for mixtapes. i use it for most mixes, mashups etc. very easy to use.
If I was you I’d get my head around Ableton Live. It does a great job and offers you the chance to really fine tune your mixtape with edits and effects.
Logic Pro. You can then adjust each track accordingly.
I always use Ableton Live. Often I’ll just play a DJ set, then you can go in and doctor it with automation and fix mistakes if there any so you’ll have a perfect mix. Don’t forget to put a limiter on your overall output.
I use Logic Express, but that’s probably just because I don’t have a copy of Logic Pro.
If you can stand to use it, Reason 4.0
I wouldn’t recommend it for mashups etc however, as its sample based and you need to splice of loops using ReCycle (Complimentary Software) but the reason sound backs are great!
traktor scratch all the way. real easy.
