Just listened to the MoS 2008 Annual, specifically the mashup CD (3rd Disc) and I’ve noticed that MoS have stolen one of my mixes!!!!
The video below was added to YouTube, by myself, on August 5th 2007. The soundtrack is a two track mix, also done by myself, which consists of Freaks – The Creeps going into Booty Luv – Shine. These two tracks mix into each other almost perfectly and I’ve never heard another DJ doing the same mix (the mix point technically starts at 1:42 but is only really audible from 2:13…)

I wonder where they got the idea from?!!!!!

Especially when tunes are so in key. I’m 95% sure we used it on a mix for judge jules on radio1 way before you posted that vid anyway so…

I apologise if you though I was being serious, I never intended for anyone to take my post as anything other than me just having a laugh. I had no intention of seriously suggesting you ripped other peoples ideas so I’m sorry if you thought I did and if I offended you. What else can I say though other than great minds must think alike!! 😉Great Mashups on CD3 especially the Heaven/Loneliness one… I absolutely love that, those two sound like they were written for each other… Plus, I don’t think I’ve ever mixed those two tracks together either!!!

They denied it, until I showed them a cardboard cut out (they didn’t know it was cardboard) of a mysterious chap (on the corner of the street) and told them he was one of many witnesses.

lolAdSense 336x280Ive been ripped before. Done a remix of a track about 4 years ago. Sent it into the label. Got back with they wasnt interested and then on the Danceland 2 album they released there was a mix practically identical to the one I had done.
This stuff happens in the music business and in one way it is annoying however on the flip side it makes a small statement that what you do is good.
