NiteVisionParticipantHi,
I recently bought this(Edirol PCR 500), in the hope of combining it with reason 3.http://www.thomann.de/ie/edirol_pcr500.htm
I can set it up to play note’s from the keyboard through the softsynths. The Problem i have is that for example there is nine sliders on the keyboard, (s1-s9) and if i map s1 to a volume slider on the mixer, s2-s9 also become mapped to that one volume slider on the mixer and cannot be mapped to anything else without deleting the original mapping. This is similar for the 9 dials on the keyboard. all nine can only be mapped to one control. and similar again for the 2×9 buttons on the keyboard. Essentially each section of controls will all map to the same one item. I’ve had no problems mapping any controls from the keyboard in tractor dj studio.
The second and more minor thing i was wondering was how do you differenciate between different softsynths/mixer/effects units, ie switch from controling one via midi keyboard, to controlling another without having to re map, or is this even possible.
Thanks for reading anyway even if you’ve no idea of the answer.
appreciated

coojuiceParticipantThere is a piece of software avaliable called Enigma that lets you set up your midi controllers to what you want in Reason 3, below is the link:
http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Enigma-main.html
This software is free to owners of various midi keyboards, have a look and see if it’s for you m8.
I downloaded this before but didn’t know what to do! I think it’s pretty easy though, I just never took the time to read through.
Hope this helps.

NiteVisionParticipantSorted, Any ideas how i can change from say contolling (via MIDI Controller) subtractor to Malestrom/Redrum/EFX without having to re-map each time?
