SI PAULParticipantHi anadin. IVe just listened to your mix.
I use virtual dj too.
I’m not sure what to say about this.If I’m honest, I only like the singing part of the original numb track.
In parts I think it needs to be a bit faster, and I really like the last bit with the singing in.
With vdj your limited to what you can do.
THAT ASIDEnice little mashup.
I think you need to start using the cues rather than holding your mouse on the deck.
you will find that you can then press the cue that you want and mess about with it abit more.
Hope I’ve helped.AdSense 336x280June 8, 2006 at 10:55 pm #591220
johnnybabyParticipantHey Anadin !
You’ve got a nice match of tunes going on there… However, a few points which I thought i’d bring up to maybe help you get a lot more out of this mashup…
1. I’m finding the volume of the acappela compared to the Thriller tune way to overpowering. Maybe you could bring them down so they sit nicer and sound "as one"
2. The Rapping at the beginning of piece seems to be slipping out of time with the rest of it, that could be quite easily tightened up without too much trouble.
3. *last one I promise*, i’m not too sure about the chorus going over the backing MJ vocals, sounds a bit messy and confusing !
Other than that, I think you’re onto something so do give up

Have a coke and smile !
J!

rednathanParticipanthey that was a nice track. aside from all of the lil technical things. i think all you really needed to watch for is just where you place MJ’s voice. be a lil particular where you place him otherwise good mix.

Chikin79Participantha im liking this matey! i love the oldskool instrumentals .I agree with the previous posts that the volume needs to come down a bit on the acapella and maybe a little work on the linkin park vox over the MJ tracks it fits but it aint 100% if yo uknow what i mean.
On the positive its good well done

I think you need to bring the volume down on the Numb/Encore acapella[/quote:2kqrq3h1]The scratch at around 3:00 is a little rough but this is not bad (better than I can do…I am sooooo new to this).
