Many thanks, bro’… for the support, and interest. I really don’t know witch are the artists impressions, hearing their songs in that way… we love doing this, and one day i hope to hear some echoes from the owners of the original tracks.
Best regards,

OsymandiazParticipantYou should register the track and get it "out there". Personally I think trance DJ’s such as Roger Goode etc will buy this track in the blink of an eye.

If u can help with some advices, i’ll give u my mess ID (yahoo) , just let me know.
Thanks,

OsymandiazParticipantI had a similar question regarding copyright in another forum on the site and anisina (one of the modurators) advised me accordingly:

You need to follow the correct procedures for Licensing from the relevant copyright holders. This maybe the Record company, but can equally be the Publisher."[/color:22uemgyx]Further to the above, click >> << for acapellas4u’s statement of Copyright ownership.
Hope this helps…

Thanks, bro. i’ll check-it out with attention.
Anyway, the fact is interesting : on my case, i’m just having fun remixing all this stuff, but never knows that some artist knock-it on the door, if i can say so, and ask u to stop using her voice or somettin’ else… and that is scary.AdSense 336x280August 7, 2007 at 10:22 am #630676
OsymandiazParticipantI doubt if that will ever happen bro. You’ve seen how artists react to fans? They appreciate it coz without fans they are nothing. Doing something like this, gives a track a whole new point of view, vibe, energy etc. They usually see remixes etc as "tributes", if I can put it that way.
DJ’s buy tracks and then mix them and do whatever.
I think this is how it works: Once you bought the track you can register your track and nobody will have a problem with it, since you bought the track. That sounds legal and fair towards all parties.Good luck to you

stroakleParticipantYeah, that’s exactly the way that things should work. Thanks for the advices and the time spent,
Hope to see u again.

OsymandiazParticipantFor sure. I’m going through the process of registering my own compositions.
I asked SAMRO (South African Music Rights Organisation) to e-mail me a full copy of the copyright law. As soon as I have it I’ll mail it to you.Stay in touch

stroakleParticipantOK, good luck and maybe we’ll collab for sometting, who knows…
Cheers,
