gorky0123ParticipantI’ve been breakin my back trying to find a mastering engineer for house music.. I’ve gotten the run around a bunch of times but nothin.. I’m mastering my tracks with izotope right now but I know very little and i’m only using the presets. What’s the best way to go about finding a solid engineer? It’s a lot more difficult than I would have imagined..

AudioTacticsParticipantHave you tried google? There are ton’s of mastering engineers who need work.
The ME you select should be very experienced in the genre that you produce.
If you want somebody reputable for electronic dance music, I would suggest Shane @ Finyl Tweek UK

He is a legend.

I would suggest that at this stage, you do it yourself!
Unless of course, you have the money for mastering! All you need is a good ear and a stable room that you can trust.
Then you need a minimum of a Compressor, an EQ & a Maximizer!Additional options include a Stereo Imager, Multiband-compressor etc.
Check these 2 songs I mastered myself!

Remember, you are listening to an Mp3’s!!You can also just pay me, hahah, just kidding!
If you really can’t master it yourself yet, then Google is your answer!!
