johnnybabyParticipantHi guys !
Another one from me that i’ve been playing around with – although this is just a rough version… I thought i’d put it out there to see what you guys think..Depending on the feedback I recieve I might pursue it !
It’s rough and cut and heavily compressed to give it a bit of a boost !
– A balad chilled out version of Mark Morrison singing return of the mack – along with an orchestra !

otgParticipantNice idea. The high strings (viola/violin?) are uncomfortably sharp, and perhaps some tremolo on the longest notes.

johnnybabyParticipantHey thanks for the feedback otg ! I’ll have a go at working on that some more when I have the time. It’s just an initial idea – as in sharp do you mean musically sharp or just edgy to to listen to ?

otgParticipantJust "painful" to listen to – their edges need softening.

johnnybabyParticipantOMG ! I”ve inflicted pain on a listener ! That’s a first ! I’ll see what I can do ! lol !

Funky MunkyParticipantThats a beautiful remix – well done
Whats the instrumental?

johnnybabyParticipantHey Munky ! It’s actually the Corrs- What Can I Do ? On the single there was a stringapella version – I liked the track and thought I could try and do something with it !

djshadesukParticipantAfter seeing that so many people had mainly good things to say about this I wanted a listen but its been deleted by the file hosting service. Any chance of putting it back up?

djshadesukParticipantThank you for sorting out the link… I’m so glad you did. That is absolutely beautiful!!
There’s a couple of tiny, tiny bits where the strings and vocal don’t quite match but for the other 99.9%… WOW!The ‘edge’ could do with taking off the strings just a little bit and perhaps something bassy to occupy the low end… a double bass for instance (which wouldn’t be that hard to add) but other than those minor suggestions that is such as wonderful and beautiful twist to a classic vocal.
Extremely well done!!!
