lberto89ParticipantSo I have this song by the same artist in two different languages.
I’m trying to make an acapella/instrumental.
I aligned both tracks in Adobe Audition, and inverted one of the tracks. I’m left with an acapella, but both languages are mixed together. How can I cancel out the vocals and just get the instrumental track. I can’t seem to figure it out.

Synthetik FMParticipantMake a combined mix of both songs in both languages, and then use your dual vox acapella with this mix to knock out the combined vocals.
I have used this method, using the Karaoke filter on Nero Wav editor, and I usually end up with seperate acapellas coming out each speaker. But the above method works well too.

lberto89ParticipantI tried that, but all I get is an original track of one language, and if I invert the dual acapella, I get the other language.

Synthetik FMParticipantWhat you must do first:
Do a mix of both original songs (both languages) and make a wav in mono, not stereo. You should end up with a song where you hear both languages at the same time.
Use your dual acapella (mixed into mono) alongside this double mix (also mixed into mono to avoid any stereo artifacting) and invert the phase on one of the mixes. It should work!

lberto89ParticipantI got it. What I had to do was take the left channel from each track.
Pan one to the left, one to the right.
Then I seperated the Center which left me with the instrumental and repeated the same thing with the right channel of each track.
