RichiePParticipantBeen working on this on and off for weeks now but finally got round to finishing it! harah! A bit more of a club friendly version of the track, bit of a tocadisco/Haji & Emanuel fusion thing going on. Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think

subtleParticipantfirst of all.. i havent heard the original.
listening:
nice kick.. nice vocal introduction.. ah.. the bass is smooth.. althought i think when u get the whole vocal phrase going i would advice you to duplicate the vocals and pan the hard to the left and right and put the on channel playing 10/20 milliseconds after the other.. to get an kinda stereo feeling..
otherwise u got a very good remix, everything sounds stable.
keep it up.

antilwsParticipantstereo enhancer in FLS would do,
The track is VERY professional
very nice bassline the effects are awesome.
i still think you need to add a different melody somwehere or a different synth with a higher octave so that it doesnt feel long.
which sequencer did you use?
and what VSTsAdSense 336x280November 28, 2006 at 1:13 pm #604281
antilwsParticipantdid you think about releasing it?

RichiePParticipantNah, don’t think I’d ever attempt to try and get a madonna mix released. Its hard enough to get a small record company to take you seriously! lol
I mainly use a combination of Fruity loops and Acid, with a handful of VSTs such as Juno, Trilogy, Albino or whatever other demos I find!
Will try tweaking the vocals. Wasn’t really making that much effort with this track, I just wanted a better club mix to play in DJ sets than the ones out there.
PS> I’ve used the DIY acapella so thats why the vocal isn’t that great quality.

vivajt223ParticipantI really like this! it’s a lot better than some versions I’ve heard so far…
The baseline is great! might be better if u add some more variations to it tho.
and yea, the vocal quality is just ok… hope there’ll be a studio acapella soon.AdSense 336x280November 28, 2006 at 11:29 pm #604325
sebastian farleyParticipanthi richie, just listened to the track and yes its a clean production and pleasent tune ,very intune with the current electro trend.personally i think it would benefit from a heavier beat and more atmosphere around the drums and percusion as it sounds slightly empty.
