I am currently in the process of making a local surf video and I am looking for remixes and mash ups to use as a soundtrack. I am interested in surf style mixes of course so anything that incorporates this style is cool. I am already using some tunes from THE WHOBOYS and some of my own creations but would like other peeps creations as well. If anyone would like to submit some mixes for the vid that would be great. I will give credit for those who do.

I am not planning on publishing this at the moment. I am trying to improve my video shooting and editing skills. Basically I am making a video resume that shows my skills for when I am looking for employment. I also love to surf and make surf videos. Who knows if it turns out well I do know some locals who produce and distribute surf videos so I may be able to get it released.

With all of these talented people on this sight I thought I would have gotten a better response.

I’m basically looking for remixes, mash ups or whatever creations you can come up with that have the surf influenced sound. I.E- The Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, The Ventures(pipeline) etc. Any style is welcome.

I know there are cats on this site that could create some very unique and phat tracks. Don’t be shy. Let’s see what you can come up with. PM me if you got the skills.

Alright,

Here is something I am currently working on for the surf video. It’s a mash/cut mix of Jan and Deans Surf Route 101 and a secert dub plate from my special collection.

It’s not finished, still needs fine tuning, equing and to be completed. This should give you an idea of one style of remix that I am interested in for the vid.
