darius2025Participant[quote quote="darius2025":36bbk8pw]Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forums and have been reading through some of the DIY section on how to make acapellas. I have been trying to find the Bronski Beat Smalltown boy acapella for a project I am working on to no avail. As I understand it there are various ways to ‘try’ and make a decent acapella but the only way I will get a decent sounding one is by finding an instrumental version of this song (as close to the quality of the original track as possible) and inverting it. However, I am finding it just as difficult finding an instrumental as the actual acapella. If anyone is aware of any sites, locations or 3rd party applications that I might try to find one of these two things, I would be very grateful.
Here is an early concept of what I am trying to make…

Hey! I know it’s been a bit, but I had an idea:
There is a 12" mix of this which has a sort of acapella version of the song at the beginning. It has only Jimmy Somerville’s vox and some pad sounds, no rhythm or bass. Here’s a youtube link:

I have a higher quality of this mix, let me know if you need it, and send me an e-mail address, and I can send this to you.

darius2025ParticipantI apologize as I may have jumped the gun in creating this post… Please do not see this aw a request… instead, it is meant to be a ‘pick-your-brain’ type post to see if anyone knows any decent places for resources to make an acapella. I’ll probably get trolled but hey, I’m desperate.
