ArataParticipantCan someone help me make the hitmen bassline & lead sounds?
I tried with 3osc, but no help.

samuraisonParticipantwish it was that easy mr mai – – to get to the level of production that is the hitmen you have to be pretty damned impressive.

DJ-ROSCOParticipantSuperwave P8 is quite good for these types of leads, I’d also try Muon Tau bass synth.

HyperstateParticipantOkkkkkkkk
breaking that down, going from the drop (ie where the kick / bass comes in)
The synth is excellent, a lot of "made" producers (ie the ones already at the top of their game) use hardware but you can get a similar sound with good use of vsts!
For the lead try sylenth, z3ta (I know it’s old but still has some awesome trancey saw patches) or korg legacy.
The kick could easily be recreated with VEC samples (v2 or v3 I’d guess).
I could make a bass like that with zebra2, in fact have been doing a lot just like that in my recent freeform / euro stuff. To get this sound, sidechain the kick to it, so that it is ducking. Instead of creating offbeat 8th notes, make them quarter-beat 4th notes, ie the space of a whole kick drum before the next one comes in. What I hear you say, surely this is craziness… the kick should be completely ducking the bass, then tweak the lowpass cutoff and cutoff envelopes so that you can get a nice "warmp" sound out of it. Using 8th notes, it is far harder to create that sort-of downwards "warmp" sound, whereas with quarter notes (obv being ducked by the kick) you have more margin for control.
EG:
pull the cutoff down on 3xOSC to around 30%…
go to the Cut envelope and add a fair-sized attack, with shortish decay / sustain
the bass should now start warmping
Hope that’s of some help, been a while since I used fruity so if you don’t understand any of what I’ve said shout out and I’ll explain it in more depth.
