icecoolzParticipanthey guys,
Finished with this just recently. I started off wanting to make this an elektro mix and it just took its own shape and I loved the end product. I still may have a few tweaks here and there, but the general construction of the song will be the same. Let me know what you think!

p4cParticipantyeah, im not getting any replies either :[ its kinda lame.
well, heres what i thought about your remix:
as a whole, it was pretty well made, but the tone you chose for the song seemed to jive a little strangely with the vocals because 1) they never seemed to be in tune with the rest of the song, and 2) the upbeat feel of this remix wasn’t entirely complimentary to the sort of slutty-creepy sound of the vocals in my opinion. though, i must still emphasize the backing track was well made

the glitchy fx at the beginning that ran through the song was a really cool place to start off of, and the beat was definately danceable. my main complaint production wise is that the bassline seemed to be a little lost–my system is generally bass-biased, and i could only sort of hear it here
but that’s minor.hope i helped

icecoolzParticipantthanks for the feedback p4c. I actually started off wanting to make a deep dark elektro mix of this song. And as the song got built upon what you see is the end product. I dont typically have anything in mind as such when I start to work and I just build it along as it comes up. And hence the end product. I dont want to restrict myself to a genre or a kind of song as such when I start to work. I just "play it by the ear" as such if you get what I mean.
I’ll see what I can about the bassline. Funny it gets lost in your set. Cos I have a Samson studio speakers specifically oriented to heavy basslines. So will revist that. once again thanks for the feedback!

Aquaireeus1ParticipantI gave it a listen and I think the songs actually sounds better without the vocals. As the other guy said, they don’t jive really. It does sound sweet when you used one of the snippets and delayed it. However the song really isn’t in key with the vocals. I like the music by itself though. You shoud work with that.

icecoolzParticipantthanks for the feedback guys. I’ll work on it and see what can be done with it. Oddly enough, I havent gotten the "outta tune" comment from anywhere else. Anyways will look into it. Glad you like the music pieces of it. cheers!
