K-Blitz – SEX – Original Track

A track by a friend of mine – K-Blitz – recorded in my basement. I made the beat, did all of the production work, wrote the chorus, and even made a guest appearance whispering at the end of each chorus! JB who sang the Phil Collins cover is the singer on the chorus.

I must say, this fellows lyrical skills (influenced and assisted by JB) are in-freekin’-credible. Just listen to them rhymes yo! This guy left and headed out west, I hope to have him back here and producing more tracks sooner than later. Boy definitely has skills! JB will most definitely be back on a few tracks too.

Album? Haha, I don’t think I’ve even thought that far ahead. When he gets back in the area we’ll definitely be pursuing something.

I was kind of up in the air on those tuned percussions actually. Couldn’t figure out if I really liked em’ or not. In the end I left them there. Not sure why.

As for the ablum thing… I have no ideer if there is even an album ever going to happen and I wouldn’t want to spread that rumour! All I can promise is that if my boy K-Blitz gets his ass back to Toronto we will definitely hook up for some more tracks.

Glad you guys like the track! I am using Reason 4.0 for the beats, I record everything via Cool Edit Pro (yep, still old skool) and then import it into an NNXT sampler and actually do everything else through Reason.

Thanks very much Doncyp! I actually have a cover of phil collins posted over in commercial/pop as well. I appreciate the feedback. I know, I am most definitely lucky to have some talented peeps just randomly walk through my door!
