My name’s Miyuru (I don’t post under an alias), and I just got into mixing music around March 2007. I listen to a lot of music and especially after watching the Justice set from I Love Techno, thought it would be fun to give it all a shot.
I started using Virtual DJ with my keyboard and mouse. And, with that alone I kept myself rather amused for a good month. Soon after I bought a BCD2000 (new) for cheap on a recommendation. It was an excellent choice as I don’t feel I deserve to buy anything higher-end than that. It has all the simple functions I need and more to help me learn beatmatching and so forth. Very very fun!
I joined because it’s fun to layer acapellas over other tracks, duh! Specifically I was searching for Daft Punk acapellas so I ended up here. Still don’t know if there are any, but whatever
