djmaxentropyParticipantDefinitely rockin if you get into it. Oh and you need bass. Without bass this is nothing.

WarlordParticipantYou know what…
When the chorus drops in, this is REALLY good. But the rest is iffy to me. I don’t think the vocal line works with the bass + beat. It sounds too crowded a lot of the time.
Still, as I said, the chrous is awesome.

davefjParticipantHey fella.
I can see what you are trying to get at with this mash up.
Pendulum music is a total sod to try and mash mix it with other tracks without it sounding odd due to it being so well produced and big sounding in the first place.
I had issues when I was mashin up Fasten Your Seatbelts with the Gorillaz, I got around it with lots of EQ adjusting and banging my head against the monitor. With your mix, the big problem is that the Jojo track would appear not to be an acapella and the two pieces of music are out of key with each other and thus clash, sounding messy at places.
Please don’t think I’m dissing your mix as bits work.
I would be improved if you could get the Jojo track as an acapella as you would be able to pitch adjust the vocal to fit the key of Terminal.Keep trying at this sort of mix as it takes the originals of each track to a new level by giving it a different feel.

djmaxentropyParticipantAye, thanks both for your comments.
Unfortunately there are no clean studio acapellas (that I’ve found) for the jojo track.
I did extract my own DIY aca, and found a DIY aca of it online too, but both sounded really bad.
Everything mentioned about alot going on and the pitch issues I completely agree with.
All in all, after much frustration with this track- the pendulum track seemed to sound dirty and ook at times– figured the jojo being semi-ook at times wouldn’t take too much away from the track.
I actually like the melody from jojo overlaying at a lot of parts throughout the tune. However, if anyone has/knows of a proper acapella for too little too late, please let me know. It would be nice to take out certain key clashing bits and replace with only the aca.
Cheers for listening gents. =)

MissblyssParticipantThis would be so good if there was no beat in the Jo Jo track. Kinda a big tease cause it has HUGE potential. Sweet girl vocals and dirty bass lines are le RAwr
